On 4 Jan
2013, the mandatory safety standards -- Australia Consumer Goods (Portable
Swimming Pools) Safety Standards 2013 on the warning label of portable swimming
pools was set out and will be effective from 30 March 2014.
The portable swimming pool is a swimming
pool including:
Ø
An inflatable swimming pool, of
any depth;
Ø
a soft-sided swimming pool, of
any depth;
Ø
a rigid-side swimming pool that
is not deeper than 300mm
Permanent warning message must be
permanently printed or embossed both on the portable swimming pool and the front of its
retail packaging:
