With these notifications, SAC proposes to update GB 6675, last revised in 2003, to be in harmony with the latest revisions of the ISO 8124 series of toy safety standards.
Additionally, SAC proposes to break the standard into four separate standards, as follows:

GB 6675.2, National Standard of the P.R.C., Safety of Toys – Part 2: Mechanical and Physical Properties
GB 6675.3, National Standard of the P.R.C., Safety of Toys – Part 3: Flammability
GB 6675.4, National Standard of the P.R.C., Safety of Toys Part 4: Migration of Certain Elements
Each of the proposed standards is open for comments through 31 August 2013.
