REACH Annex XVII PAHs Scope updated

From 27 December 2015, plastic and rubber parts shall not contain PAHs with more than:

• 1 mg/kg in articles in direct and prolonged or short-term repetitive contact with the skin or oral cavity. This includes sport equipment, tools, clothing, apparel etc.

• 0.5 mg/kg in toys in direct and prolonged or short-term repetitive contact with the skin or oral cavity.
